January 06, 2023, Colombo: SLMC discussed the manner of contesting in the upcoming Local Government Elections under the chairmanship of its Leader Rauff Hakeem at the “Darussalam.”
Muslim Congress District leaders for Colombo, Puttalam, Badulla, Kurunegala, Gampaha, Vanni and Kegalle too participated in the discussion.
Another meeting with the members of the Colombo Municipal Council was also held separately with party leader Hakeem; among them, the national organizer of the party, M.S. Thowfeek, MP, was also present.
In addition, a discussion with the members of the high command of the SLMC regarding the election was held on Friday (6) evening in the presence of SLMC Leader Rauff Hakeem, General Secretary Nizam Kariapar at the “Party’s Darus Salam” headquarters.
